Following on from my Media Culture posts, this is a small experiment for MC539 - otherwise known as Web & Alternative Media Production. Using AudioBoo we were tasked with creating a short piece of audio which can be shared online easily, in response to a contemporary news story.
Instead of a vox or clip from someone involved in the story, we decided to create a one-off podcast style show discussing the Emma Watson and Vivienne Westwood story - which was big on the day of our workshop.
Creating the audio was really quick, we used an Edirol and just recorded our 5 minute chat. It wasn’t edited and should’ve been really quick to upload to AudioBoo… university network issues asside, we managed to upload it and you can listen to it above.
Our only issue being that as we went over the AudioBoo 5 minute limit it chops off the end of our conversation.
